Read Philippians 4:4-7
Ok friends, we have owned our mission and repented of our failure and blame. Now it is time to move forward! First things first: prayer! I know it sounds too simple. What you are really looking for is specific answers to your “how to” questions. Those answers will come, and I am here to help you find them. However, these specific answers can only come from God.
So, let us first rejoice in the Lord! God has given us more chances than we deserve, and here we are on the edge of the next one! God is with us and wants to help us succeed at reaching new generations! We need only tap in to God’s instruction and power. Don’t worry about your “how to” or “what’s next” questions, but instead give them to God. Tell God what you want to know and do as a disciple and as a Church, and thank God for what He has done and is about to do!
Spend time in focused prayer this week on your own and with like-minded members of your church family. Build a prayer team if you don’t already have one; even if there are only two of you for now. Commit to praying individually and collectively every week as you move forward together.
